Cooking that's fun and healthy… with my helpers!
Hi! Welcome to my blog! I am the mom of 5 children, and one more on the way. So far, we only have one little girl, and she’s smack dab in the middle of all the boys… and her name is Dinah. =D She likes to come help me in the kitchen, as do my older boys, so when people kept asking me to write a food blog, I thought I’d try to include them in the some of my projects. The only problem I have, is getting pictures of us all while we cook! HAHAHA! I’m too busy giving instructions, to whip out a phone or camera!
As you can imagine, my love of cooking (and food!) has led to some stubborn weight gain that I couldn’t seem to control… even though I always tried to eat healthy, I was like someone stumbling around in a dark room. Sometimes I hit on a good idea, but more often, I was just stubbing my toes on all the furniture. Then I found Trim Healthy Mama (THM). That story is going to be a blog post someday, so I’ll just tell you the result–I began losing weight! Finally! And I had clear instructions on what was healthy, and what was not–and more importantly, WHY! So here on my blog, most (if not all) of my recipes will be THM-friendly, and you know what that means–healthy! Even desserts will be good for you! How amazing is that???
I just hope that you all enjoy the recipes, and that I can help someone else find a healthier (but still yummy) path in life!
